Hello everyone! As you already know if you follow me on any of my social media accounts, I love eco-friendly products. That's why I was so excited when Newell Eco Collaborative reached out to me and asked me to review a few of their items!

Newell Eco Collaborative is a website that sells various sustainable products made by all different small brands based in the United States. Their mission is to help as many people as possible in their quest to become more eco-friendly. I love the fact that they offer a wide variety of products in the beauty and home goods sector. I've been trying out all of the products for the past few weeks so I could be sure to give them a proper review. All of the products I choose to review are vegan. And while not all of the products on this site are vegan, they are all cruelty-free, sustainably made and low or zero waste.

Chocolate Bar by Butter Me Up Organics
So lately I've been super into beauty products that smell like baked goods for whatever reason. And let me tell you, I am obsessed with this soap. Made with naturally moisturizing ingredients like cocoa butter and castor oil, the website states that this bar can be used as a shampoo, soap, face wash or shaving soap. The first time I used this bar in the shower, I couldn't believe how much it smelled like actual brownies. I could not stop smelling it! The scent lingered on my skin for a little while but didn't last all day or anything. Still, I felt like this bar was very moisturizing and using it is a very pleasant experience. I didn't try using it as a shampoo bar, because I was afraid the dark color of the bar might stain my blonde ends. However if you have dark hair, it might be a great product for this purpose as well. The only downside to this product is that I always want to eat something chocolate after I use it!

Bamboo Soap Dish by Me Mother Earth
I wanted to get a new soap dish because I felt like the plastic one I had would always gather too much water in the shower. I like how this dish is made from bamboo, which is naturally antimicrobial. I tried this dish out with the Chocolate Bar soap and left it in the shower. What I loved was that the water drained through instead of sitting in the dish and melting my soap into a mushy blob. What I didn't like was the fact that my soap bar stuck to the dish like crazy. I literally had to pry the soap bar from this dish so hard, I was afraid it would snap in half. I also tried this soap dish with the Coconut Lime soap, which I review below, and did not have nearly as hard a time removing the soap from the dish, so I guess it depends on the formula of the soap you are using.

Coconut Lime Soap by Caron & Co
My first thought when I saw this soap was that it's beautiful! I absolutely love the colors and how they are swirled together. This soap has a lovely fresh and clean smell to it, perfect for summer! The smell is very strong and has made my whole bathroom smell better, I'm not even exaggerating. The website does not state that this soap can serve multiple functions, like the chocolate one does. And in comparison, this soap does not leave my skin feeling quite as moisturized as the chocolate one does. However, comes with a cute bag, which is great for storage and I feel like it would be perfect for traveling since it is so lightweight.

Tinted Lip Balm by The Releafery
I was super excited about this product because I've never owned a tinted lip balm that came in non-plastic packaging! This one comes in a very sturdy black cardboard tube and the color of the balm is absolutely gorgeous! At first I was surprised by how bright the color looks in the packaging, but when I tried it on, it actually came out as a very subtle and wearable pinky-purple shade (the filter used in my video clip did not change the lip color). It did transfer to my face mask when I wore one a little later that day without removing this lip balm first, which I wasn't surprised about since just about all makeup does this. The product left my lips feeling extremely moisturized and looks very cute, so hopefully I will be able to get some wear out of it this summer!
Vegan Wax Food Wraps by Me Mother Earth
You may have heard of reusable wax wraps before, but usually they are made using beeswax. That's why I was so excited to see that Newell Eco Collaborative carried a vegan version! I used these wax wraps to go on a picnic and loved them. They kept my food fresh even after sitting in partial sunlight for several hours and the fruit patterns are so cute! They were also super easy to clean with just a regular sponge and dish soap. According to the website, you can use these wax wraps for up to a year or until they are no longer waxy enough. These wraps are made with organic cotton and are 100% biodegradable. I can't wait to use them for all my other picnics this summer!

Overall, I highly recommend shopping on Newell Eco Collaborative's site. They have so many great sustainable product options and a lot of them are vegan as well! I am super grateful to have had the opportunity to test out these products and would love to try out some other items from their site in the future. Remember, even if you feel like you can't make a difference by swapping a few products for more eco-friendly options, we can make a huge impact if we work together and encourage each other to make better decisions for our beautiful planet!
