Free fitness classes in NYC
Looking to step up your fitness game or to do more in-person classes in NYC without paying ridiculous membership or drop-in fees? Here is a list of free and donation-based fitness class options in New York City. I will continue to add more class options as I find them!
This service is put on by NYC Parks and offers a variety of free classes for adults around the city including yoga, dance, mat pilates, bodyweight training and more. View their updated schedule here.
Bryant Park Yoga offers free outdoor yoga classes at Bryant Park, typically from May through September. View their website and schedule here.

Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy hosts free outdoor fitness classes, typically from May through September at Brooklyn Bridge Park. View their website and schedule here.
The Seaport is a historic neighborhood in downtown Manhattan filled with bars and restaurants lining it’s cobblestone streets. They also offer weekly free fitnesses classes, you can learn more about them here.
Hudson River Park hosts a summer season series of free fitness classes, including yoga, HIIT and dance cardio. View their schedule and register here.
Sky Ting yoga studio hosts some donation based yoga classes. Their original studio is located in Chinatown and the studio is bright and filled with plants. They also recently opened a new space in NoHo, and have plans to close their original location soon.

Baby Cobra Yoga has three locations, in the East Village, Bushwick and Williamsburg. They only offer donation based yoga classes on a first come, first serve basis. I personally haven’t been yet but it seems like a great option, especially considering that they have a few locations.
Free pop-ups in NYC
So many brands host free pop-up events in NYC. I recently went to one by YourReformer that offered free on-demand pilates classes! I often post about these type of events on my Instagram Broadcast Channel, so be sure to join it to stay updated.
